Hey mama, I’m Krys!
I am a certified life coach, entrepreneur, and founder of a motherhood empowerment online publication. Yeah, it’s a lot, and I love it all! I don’t look at it as wearing a whole bunch of different hats though. The way I see it, I custom made this damn hat, so you better believe it fits!
As I write this segment, I reflect on all the versions of myself that I have been through to create this one-of-a-kind hat.
My story begins as a sweet but shy little girl, growing up in the Bay Area as a first generation Asian American. I was the eldest of 5 kids, raised by very traditional Filipino parents. I loved it, but I knew we were very far from “normal.”
During my impressionable years, I became a rebellious teen (bless my mother's heart). I wanted things done my way, and had the attitude and wit to back up my bad-ass persona. I learned very early that this was my way of protecting myself.
